All I said is most bots aren't invincibility. I never said bots are good or anything of the sort.
Now you're trying to put words in my mouth. Yesterday I went all-in from 10-10, and people called from 2-6 When you have the same stacks, do you go all in from 2-6? And as usual, the table is open 2-6-6 - AK I would love to see how you beat them, for your hard-earned money
You can’t do statistics on them, because they go all-in and win 199%. I can’t understand you, you are inclined to believe that bots are good, because they can be defeated. Only thing you can do to circumvent this is just keep playing well and hopefully variance will wear off. Sorry to say but it seems to me that you have just been running bad recently. They instead just do what is mathematically feasible. Just so you know, the bots that are out there have know way of knowing what cards are coming. Hell, the situation you point out sounds more like a player on tilt that just got super lucky because bots that are out there would never shove with nothing unless they were terribly programmed.

Just like any player though, bots can get lucky and crack your aces. Most bots aren't these all knowing machines that know what's coming on the flop. Bots are simply programs that are designed to play poker a certain way so yes they are beatable.
I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. I would have beaten the player with my card, well, the bot went all in without having anything on the flop, knowing that he would get a set of aces! Beat such yourself, I was not taught this at school.įunny you beat the bot? beat a man? Do you happen to have the wrong head? You write something that is not understandable. But beware: When you’re unbalanced, you’re vulnerable to getting hit yourself.Yes, only you have to play against the bot and against the player. You’ll “drop your guard” by making a certain move more or less often than optimal play would suggest, hoping to land a big punch and extract more value from your opponent. Think of GTO like a defensive shell that you leave whenever there’s a large enough opening to exploit your fellow players. Once you understand the concept of balance in poker, the next step is to know when to play unbalanced poker. Too many bluffs will allow your opponent to exploit you by calling. Too many value bets will allow your opponent to exploit you by folding. Balance takes this one step further, by using the best ratio of bluffs to value bets for your situation. We already know that deception is a vital element in Hold’em when you make a bet, for example, you want your opponents to be confused about whether you’re betting for value or as a bluff. Instead of trying to memorize and replicate these strategies at Bovada Poker, consider taking the time to think about why balance is important. These are much easier strategies to implement they aren’t perfect, but they’ll keep you from making the kind of big mistakes that many players make trying to play perfectly balanced poker. A lot of good work has been done recently in coming up with simplified Hold’em strategies that are near-optimal in many situations. GTO solvers, and advanced poker bots like Libratus, use complex strategies that are virtually impossible for humans to mimic. They can recommend the right balance of value bets and bluffs to frustrate your opponents, and the closer you can get to striking that balance, the more money you can win at the poker table.Īchieving this balance is easier said than done. The idea is to make yourself as unexploitable as possible, rather than exploit your opponents, and it really started gaining traction sometime around 2015, when computer programs are known as “solvers” gained the power to quickly (and cheaply) analyze billions of hands. You may have heard of this style of poker: It’s called game-theory optimal, or GTO for short. However, in the long run, there is a certain style of play that will allow you at least to break even if you do it right, and to profit from other players’ mistakes when they happen. What if you could play online poker at Bovada and never lose? There are no such guarantees, of course – you can win or lose an entire stack at No-Limit Hold’em on any one hand, depending on which cards come out at random.
